Tall Tree Spraying

The need for tree spraying has never been more important. With record infestations in recent years, the need to protect your property is a must. With our tall tree spraying program you can stay worry free from infestations of caterpillars, inch worms, gypsy moths, spider mites, and all other tree infesting insects.

Spring Clean-ups

Spring clean-ups by Evergreen Landscaping are essential to starting the year off right. This service sets the stage for reaching your property's potential throughout the landscaping season. The clean-up will begin with de-thatching all lawn areas to remove dead grass. The next step is blowing out every square inch of the property to remove all leaves and unwanted debris. A fresh cut then provides a fresh appearance.

Lawn Maintenance

Evergreen Landscaping's lawn maintenance program is performed with top of the line equipment and highly experienced employees. All grass areas are maintained to the proper height in accordance with seasonal temperatures, ensuring a healthy and rich lawn. Areas in which the mowers are limited (mailboxes, trees, mulch beds, etc...), grass trimmers are used to provide a professional finish to the job. Finally the property will be inspected for trash and other debris, all sidewalks, driveways, decks, and patios will be blown clean of sand and grass clippings.

Flower Packages

Whether it is residential or commercial, a flower package is an outstanding way to increase the curb appeal of your property. Depending on the season, we have a flower package to fit your property and mulch beds with any colors you want. We can accommodate any specific flower arrangements you want, or we can help you plan if for you.

Edging and Mulching

Edging and mulching will begin at the end of April immediately following spring clean-ups. Edging is the process of redefining a mulch bed. All edges are 3-4 inches deep, ensuring mulch will not spill out onto the grass and keeping the grass from growing into the mulch bed. These edges will be maintained during lawn maintenance throughout the season with a string trimmer. Mulching will be completed once a year in the spring to enhance your property's curb appeal. Mulch will be installed at 2" to 3" thick to help retard weed growth in the beds, while also storing moisture for flowers, trees and shrubs. Feel free to call for all varieties and colors.

Weeding

Weeding is an optional service provided with our weekly maintenance program. All beds that were previously mulched will be inspected to guarantee that all weeds and other debris are removed, ensuring that you beds will have a clean appearance all season long.

Fertilizer Programs

Fertilizer programs by Evergreen Landscaping are highly recommended if you are committed to maximizing your lawn's full potential. The key to any successful fertilizer program is the right product at the right time. This will protect your lawn from pests, broadleaf weeds, crabgrass and other unwanted lawn occurrences. All applicators at Evergreen Landscaping are state certified and extremely knowledgeable. Besides our five basic steps, Evergreen Landscaping offers a large variety of other applications, ranging from fungicides, organic treatments, to flea and tick control.

Pruning

Pruning is the service of shaping and sculpting bushes and trees to their healthiest and most appealing form. Many trees and shrubs need to be pruned at different times throughout the year to ensure a high level of health. More importantly, with hundreds of species of trees and shrubs in our area, it is a must to hire a professional landscaping company.

Aerating

Aerating by Evergreen Landscaping is one of the most important ways to establish a healthy lawn. This is the process of putting holes 3" - 4" deep into your lawn, allowing water, oxygen, fertilizers, and other nutrients to penetrate the soil and better reach the roots of your grass.

Dethatching

Dethatching can be one of the simplest and most effective ways to revive a lawn. Thatch is the layer of crowns and stems left behind by dead grass. A small amount of thatch is good to hold moisture but too much can choke out new grass and nutrients from fertilizers.

Over Seeding

Over seeding is an essential lawn task that is often overlooked. After five to six years, grass slows down its reproduction rates. By slowing down production, grass areas will become thin and spotty, providing an opportunity for weeds to fill in. Over seeding on a yearly basis will keep your lawn thick and dense. Thick grass roots will help to prevent weed growth. New seed is healthier, stronger, and more effective in the fight against weeds and disease.

Irrigation

An irrigation system provides your lawn the most potential throughout the year. A properly designed irrigation system will evenly water an entire lawn. This system is programmed to water on a schedule developed particularly for each location. Evergreen Landscaping can take care of all your irrigation start-ups, winterizations, and any other maintenance needs throughout the year.

Mosquito Spraying

Mosquito spraying will decrease mosquito populations for a period of 21-28 days. Our services can range from a single application for a special event to a monthly spraying to limit mosquito populations from May through September. You should not let mosquitoes make you a prisoner in your own home!

Fall Clean-ups

At Evergreen Landscaping fall clean-ups are held to the highest standard. We start by blowing out all mulch beds and walls, then work our way across the lawn blowing out every acorn, twig, and leaf left from the fall months. It is important to leave your lawn clean and healthy for the winter. Without this service, any debris will displace acid into the grass below, leaving your lawn vulnerable to disease. We finish with a final cut to leave a maintained appearance all winter long.

Gutter Cleaning

Gutter cleaning should be done in November, before fall clean-ups. Having clean gutters and downspouts is crucial for the winter season. As snow melts off roof tops and trees, it is important to have proper drainage to prevent ice buildup, roof leaks, and damaged gutters.

Commercial Snowplowing

Snowplowing by Evergreen Landscaping is a 24-hour full-service operation. During any snowstorm, Evergreen Landscaping handles a wide range of properties, including: industrial buildings, hotels, and restaurants. When hiring Evergreen Landscaping for snowplowing, rest assured that the job will be completed in a timely manner. Evergreen Landscaping offers sanding applications to help melt ice and snow, and offer traction to slick areas.

This application works faster, lasts longer, and is effective up to -30 degrees. Treated salt is pet-friendly, environmentally friendly, not harmful to plants, and will not damage concrete or leave a residue.
